The Kanawha Valley Coin Club was originally formed in 1960 as the Dunbar Coin
Club. The club was incorporated in 1974 as the Kanawha Valley Coin Club. The
purpose of the club is to provide an opportunity for those interested in numismatics to
meet, exchange information, and buy & sell their coins to other collectors.

Our club sponsors an annual coin show each spring. These shows offer collectors the
opportunity to buy and sell various numismatic related material from a diverse group of
participating dealers from throughout the region.

The club strives to provide educational opportunities for the novice collector by
allowing him or her to learn about their coins, coin collecting, coin grading, and various
other aspects of coins and numismatics.
